This is one of the little guys who have been liberating the seed from our bird feeder...and keeping our "kids" entertained for hours on end. Just so you get an idea of how exciting our cats find this, the camera was not on zoom when I took this...if there wasn't glass there I could have scratched this little guy behind his ears...not that I would do such a foolish thing!

Such a sweet little squirrel. Why do you think that would be a stupid thing to do? Afraid of getting bitten?
My mum once got bitten when she unwittingly cleared away a squirrel nest (if you can call it that) which she had presumed to be empty.
